Developed as part of COUNCIL OF THE NINE, the work translates the Enneagram’s Type Three – the Achiever – through the symbolic figure of a peacock. Constructed from recycled envelope packaging and papier-mâché, the mask combines an exaggerated, brightly painted surface with a found peacock feather.
Its theatrical appearance reflects the Type Three tension between achievement, visibility and external recognition, while questioning the distance between performed identity and inner value. Designed as both a wall-mounted sculpture and wearable mask, it can shift from static display into performance.
