A delicate duvet is wrapped vertically around a structural pillar and tightened with two second-hand leather belts. Printed patterns from my earlier ‘Martial-Kitsch Art’ series spread across the fabric alongside the embroidered phrase ‘Did you get any of that?’.
Through compression, suspension, and restraint, the work repositions an intimate domestic object as a soft architectural body carrying traces of protection, exhaustion, and containment.
