In the past 10 years, there is an agricultural land in Chengdu transformed by the urbanism brutally. Facing the resistance from the owner, the developer with power set fire on their housing and exiled the owners.
The work is located on the second floor roof of one of those housing. It consists of two parts: the pictures attached on the wall and the installation placed on the ground. In the pictures, I handed my collections from the ruin. Those collections were burned into ashes and besieged by the bricks from the surrounding construction. I buried the seeds of crops⸺ from the remain of agricultural fields ⸺into the stack of ashes. Hence the work will grow with the weather of the environment.
