Developed through the Enneagram’s Type Seven – the Enthusiast – the work combines the symbolic figure of a monkey with the form of a backpack. Extending limbs and cutlery-like hands evoke Type Seven’s “gluttony”: an appetite for stimulation, experience and possibility.
Developed in collaboration with artist Mariana Mauricio, its layered drawings and collaged surfaces draw on the spontaneous visual language that emerged through the COUNCIL OF THE NINE children’s workshops. Designed to be worn and activated through performance.
