Visual Identity Collaboration
The Counsel was developed as part of Waterloo Festival 2026, an annual arts festival at St John’s Waterloo bringing together artists, musicians, local communities and visitors through exhibitions, performances, workshops and public events.
Alongside contributing to the festival’s Arts & Music Working Group and collaborating on the visual identity for Now I Make a Leaf of Voices, I developed The Counsel as an evolving project exploring systems of belief, symbolic creatures and collective imagination.
Presented as a participatory installation and a series of live performances, the project invited visitors to contribute drawings, stories and conversations that gradually became part of the work itself. Rather than positioning the audience as spectators, The Counsel unfolded through participation, allowing the exhibition to evolve collectively over the course of the festival.
